Well 2013 has been hectic so far. Have not done any modelling since January, so hence no posts! The reason for this is because of my new born son born at the end of January and that hit me pretty hard but definitely worth every minute!
I also have lots of coursework to do for my apprenticeship and also had to squeeze in a house move, so it has been all go here but unfortunately not for the modelling.
Due to the changes in lifestyle and having a discussion with Darbs, we are keen to leave Warhammer and Games Workshop behind. The prices and the fact that after just buying the Eldar book, Darbs is faced with buying another one!
A large part of the reason for my defection is the investment of time. I have less time now so need to get things painted and up and running fast and 28mm scale is rather tedious. I also have fell out of love with the GW universe, it just does not do it for me anymore so therefore we have decided to move on to 15mm.
We have been scouring the 15mm ranges and it all seems to fit the bill. A little small for my fat fingers but I will overcome this little problem soon enough!
